Daniel Richter Releases New EP 'Patience'

Daniel Richter

TORONTO, CANADA — October 16, 2026 — Award winning Christian pop artist and worship leader delivers a new collection of songs about trusting God's timing, out now on all major streaming platforms.

Christian pop artist and worship leader Daniel Richter has released his new EP, 'Patience', available now on Spotify, Apple Music and all major streaming platforms. The release closes out a year that has seen Richter establish himself as one of the most consistent new voices on Christian radio.

'Patience' arrives on the back of 'Motivation', which was named Track of the Week on The Hope FM Breakfast Show and climbed to number 7 among the top Canadian songs on Christian radio. Before that, 'Jesus Be The Centre' reached number 5 on the More Radio Canadian Content report. Richter's Christian debut 'Light That Shines' was added by more than 25 stations, including UCB, Shine FM and JOY Radio, and peaked at number 2 on the CCRC CANCON chart. 'Dear God' followed at number 6.

The industry has taken notice. In 2026 Richter won Contemporary or Praise and Worship Song of the Year at the Canadian Selah Music Awards, where he was nominated in three categories, including Male Artist of the Year and Song of the Year.

"Patience is a reminder that God's timing is never late," says Daniel Richter. "Every season of waiting has shaped who I am, and these songs are for anyone who is holding on and trusting that something good is coming."

Richter's path to this point has been anything but conventional. As frontman of Eleven Past One, he signed with Warner Music Canada, earned a gold certified hit with 'The World Is Ours', spent 11 weeks on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 and shared stages with R5 and Zendaya. He then chose to step away from the mainstream to follow a deeper calling. Today he serves as worship leader and music director at his local church and writes music that blends pop, worship and indie influences, inspired by artists like Phil Wickham and Brandon Lake.

'Patience' is out now.
